A warm welcome is extended to all who visit our 17th century inn situated in the heart of Middlewich, Cheshire and if you like well kept beers and wholesome home cooked food in a relaxed atmosphere then The Narrowboat is the place for you.
It is no coincidence that our pub is named The Narrowboat as it is within easy walking distance of the Trent and Mersey Canal. Middlewich canal basin is at the junction of the Trent and Mersey and the section of canal which forms the link to the Shropshire Union canal.
As you would expect with a building of this age we have our own resident ghost - he's very friendly and maybe after sampling our wares in front of the warm open fire in winter you will see him too!
Real ales and a selection of wines from around the world make the Narrowboat a great place to meet with friends or enjoy a quiet drink. Delicious food is served daily for lunches and dinner. Enjoy your drink in the enclosed beer garden and patio during the summer.
