Mike Gunner & Team are pleased to welcome you to there traditional English pub with adjacent cottage, which provides quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Congleton.

Settle yourself down in our bar and enjoy one of our CAMRA Award Winning Cask Ales. We have up to 7 quality cask ales available at any one time plus guest beers which are sourced locally, we've stocked in excess of 360 ales and counting and have been in The Good Beer Guide for 5 years running. We also have a range of premium spirits sold in the larger 35ml measure. Alternatively you can while away an evening with friends by playing one of our traditional pub games, pool, cards, dominos or shove ha'penny. We also welcome dogs. Outside we have a pleasant beer garden for those hazy days of summer, complete with canal views and play equipment to keep the youngsters occupied.
