A huge expanse of grazed upper saltmarsh, best viewed from the parking area at the shore end of Denhall Lane.

Morning are often best, when the light is behind you. Through the winter months the area holds huge numbers of birds, notably Teal, Lapwing, Golden Plowever and small numbers of Bewick Swans and grey geese.

Finch flock on the spring-tide line often include Brambling and Twite.
