The Hall was built by the Moreton family in fifteenth century and is one of Britain’s largest and most famous timber framed buildings. Also boasting a tranquil orchard and a pretty Knot Garden, Little Moreton Hall is a great location for a family day out.
If you’re looking for a different flavour altogether, why not head to Lyme Park and Gardens in Disley. Originally built as a Tudor House, Lyme was transformed by the Venetian architect Leoni into an Italianate palace.
