What's On

Cheshire boasts an eclectic events calendar and is a hive of activity throughout the year.

From glorious garden shows and historical re-enactments, to high speed racing events and spine tingling ghost tours, there's plenty to keep you entertained.

Cheshire is home to the Cheshire County Show, one of the UK's largest two day agricultural shows. The show is a great day out for all of the family, and attracts over 80,00 visitors a year.

Speed freaks will delight in the annual Cholmondeley Pageant of Power,  a celebration of all things speedy on land, sea and air. The event takes place in July and sees cars, bikes and boats thunder around the grounds of a stately home on a specially built race track.

Breathing life and creativty energy through the streets of Macclesfield, the Barnaby Festival is a riot of art, music, cabaret, dance, theatre and live performance with a healthy dose of good old fashioned fun. Previous festivals have featured pianos on street corners, original opera and even a treacle parade...

Set in the striking Cheshire countryside, the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park is the North West's largest garden party and offers a truly unique day out for all garden lovers.

We've also got regular farmer's markets, ghost tours, food festivals and much more. Whatever time of year you're visiting us, you're sure to find something you'll enjoy doing.
