Dawn Critchley specializes in surface pattern decoration applying designs to kitchen and lifestyle products reflecting rustic country-style. “Using simple line drawings I try and capture the ‘essence’ of my subjects in their natural environment” Understanding the need to keep your work fresh and visually exciting I want to share with you some of my warm up techniques that will enable you to lose your ‘drawing’ fears and inhibitions.

You don’t have to be able to ‘draw’ to join this workshop, it's not about drawing skills, it’s about getting into the habit of carrying a drawing diary around with you everywhere! And not to think too much about what you want to draw and if it will be technically a good drawing or not. There are no rules no one has to see it but you. You will be amazed at how you see the world differently.

You will leave the workshop with the start of your own ‘drawing diary’ and the enthusiasm to carry on developing on your own your unique style of drawing.
